3. Large patients (with a BMI of 30-35): This patient can refine their shape and benefit from liposuction as a jump start. However, this patient typically requires diet, exercise and lifestyle changes for liposuction results to remain highly successful over the long term.
4. Patients Over 35 BMI: This patient will benefit mostly from a lifestyle change and possibly bariatric surgery. However, Dr. Chau will discuss liposuction with this category of patients to see if he can treat certain specific problem areas with it.
