Joseph G. Bauer, M.D. is the founder of Plastic Surgery Associates of Atlanta. His practice has an uncompromising commitment to quality, including use of the safest, most advanced cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Dr. Bauer maintains a plastic surgery practice that specializes in the excellence of surgical results with personal patient care. He has traveled extensively to train with the best international plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
As a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical society that comprises the top ten percent of medical students, he graduated cum laude from Emory University and a Fellowship in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. He was the recipient of the coveted "Nike" award for best surgical result.
Dr. Bauer has dual board certifications in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and General Surgery . He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bauer's practice is primarily cosmetic. Naturally artistic and creative, Dr. Bauer is very meticulous in his work and demanding of results. His reputation is international. Many of his patients travel from overseas based on his reputation and "natural" results.
Patient education is paramount at Plastic Surgery Associates of Atlanta. Dr. Bauer has appeared on numerous television interviews and is a popular speaker to both lay and professional audiences. He holds informative seminars to educate prospective patients several times a year. About Dr. Fardo
Dean J. Fardo, MD is a native of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fardo obtained his B.S. degree in both biology and engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he graduated with Honors and was elected into AOA, the national medical honor society. Dr. Fardo completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the Grand Rapids/Michigan State University program.
After completing his residency, Dr. Fardo sought out the best additional cosmetic surgery training available, and he completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and a oculoplastic (eyelid) fellowship at PACES Plastic Surgery. This makes Dr. Fardo one of the few surgeons nationwide that has formal training in both Plastic Surgery and Oculoplastic Surgery.
After his training was completed, Dr. Fardo was an Attending Staff Physician at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic for 3 years. His specialties there were cosmetic and oculoplastic surgery.
Dr. Fardo is board certified in Plastic Surgery and a member of numerous medical societies. He has authored scientific publications and textbook chapters and has lectured at several Plastic Surgery meetings.
About Dr. Connors
John Philip Connors III, MD studied biology and chemistry at Vanderbilt University, then attended medical school at Georgetown University. He completed his internship at Dartmouth Medical School and his plastic surgery residency at Harvard Medical School. While at Harvard, Dr. Connors was chief resident at five Boston hospitals, where he specialized in plastic surgery.
Dr. Connors is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. His medical affiliations include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has received a number of awards, including Outstanding Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Connors has also contributed to numerous medical publications and presented at several medical society conferences.
