American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons:
The American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (ASPRS) represents 97 percent of all physicians certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery: The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) is an organization devoted to education and research in aesthetic (cosmetic) plastic surgery. Its members are aesthetic plastic surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who have met additional educational and professional requirements set forth by ASAPS to maintain the highest standard of practice. Lipoplasty Society of North America: The Society is a medical association of over 1,000 Board certified plastic surgeons in the United States, Canada and elsewhere. The Society was founded in 1982 to encourage medical excellence in lipoplasty and to promote optimal patient care. Each of its members is certified in plastic surgery, is active in the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and has completed at least one of the specialized lipoplasty symposia sponsored by the Lipoplasty Society of North America.
