CPS AND ITS APPROACH TO TREATMENT

The Center for Plastic Surgery was established in 1986, by the merger of the individual practices of Dr. Albert F. Fleury, Jr., Dr. James H. French, Jr. and Dr. G. Wesley Price. The foundation at the Center was based on the 35-year-old practice of Dr. Albert Fleury, Sr., a well respected member of both the academic and private medical community. CPS is therefore able to draw on the expertise, resources and facilities of not one, but several surgeons, in order to provide you the best available care in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.

All of the physicians at CPS are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. They are all members at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as the Metropolitan Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons. They are all active participants on the clinical faculty at the Division of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical School.

Drs. Fleury, French, and Price, have lectured and published extensively on the subject of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Their interests span the entire scope of both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, with particular emphasis in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breasts. About Dr. Fleury

Education

• M.D.: Holy Cross College, MA and Georgetown School of Medicine
• General Surgery Residency: Washington Hospital Center
• Plastic Surgery Residency: Eastern Virginia Medical Authority, Norfolk, VA (and Fellowship in Microsurgery)

Dr. Fleury is a Washington native. Plastic surgery is a tradition in Dr. Fleury's family. His father founded this practice more than fifty years ago. Dr. Fleury is experienced in all aspects of plastic surgery and has a special interest in aesthetics including cosmetic surgery of the face and body. 

Dr. Fleury is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has lectured extensively in plastic surgery, and is listed in The Best Doctors In America. Dr. Fleury has also appeared on numerous television programs such as Broadcast House Live, Channel 4 Evening News, and NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw.

Dr. Fleury served as Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He is Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at the Georgetown University School of Medicine

Dr. French is an Arkansas native. His southern manner as well as his surgical skill draws his patients to him. Dr. French's interests and expertise span the entire scope of both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. French has published and lectured extensively, and is listed in The Best Doctors In America. He is presently Chief of Plastic Surgery at Fairfax Hospital and serves on the clinical faculty at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He has been Co-Director of the Center for Facial Rehabilitation at the Fairfax Hospital since its inception.

About Dr. Price

Dr. Price is a North Carolina native with extensive training and experience in plastic surgery. His primary interests are cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast, as well as liposuction.  Dr. Price is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in two surgical specialties -- plastic surgery and general surgery, although he restricts his practice to plastic surgery. He has spoken and published nationally. Dr. Price is listed in The Best Doctors In America.

Dr. Price trained under many noted plastic surgeons, including Thomas Rees, Daniel Baker, Sherrell Aston and Anthony Wolfe. Dr. Price is a teacher himself as a member of the clinical faculty in plastic surgery at Georgetown University. He has been a volunteer for international plastic surgery missions.

Dr. Price and his wife Barbara are very involved with their two young sons. He also enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.

CPS maintains its own accredited ambulatory surgery suites with state of-the-art equipment and a staff trained in outpatient surgical care. The support team of M.D. Anesthesiologists and nurses has specific training and experience in aesthetic surgery. The outpatient care offered by CPS assures you of warm, personalized attention while respecting your right to confidentiality.

Total patient care is of the utmost importance to the physicians at CPS. Some of the resources available include computerized imaging capabilities to help you visualize the results of your surgery. Educational videotapes on the various plastic surgery procedures are also available for viewing, as well as the services of an aesthetician to advise on make-up and hair techniques postoperatively.
