Your consultation is an important time for you and me. I will ask you to talk to me about the physical change you are seeking and to share with me what you like and don't like about your appearance. I will ask you questions to make sure I clearly understand the change you desire.
I need to examine you closely, so that I understand your skin, your features and your bone structure... and the person inside! This will help me make the best recommendations for you to consider. We'll talk about your options and choices so that you can accomplish your goal in a way that suits you. I'll also discuss with you the risks involved, the recovery process and what you can expect as you watch your improved appearance emerge. We'll spend as much time as necessary to answer all of your questions. I encourage you to write down your questions ahead of time so we won't miss any.
We'll look together at photos of patients who have undergone procedures similar to the ones you are considering. These individuals are pleased with their outcomes and were kind enough to let me share their pictures with you.
Together, we'll come up with a plan that should work for you. I'll ask you to think it over. And we'll have another meeting a couple of weeks before your procedure to discuss any further questions you may have. I encourage you to bring your spouse or special person with you, so they can ask questions and understand their role in your care afterwards!
