About Dr. Parson

Education

• B.S.: University of Utah
• M.D.: The George Washington University
• General Surgery Residency: The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency
• Plastic Surgery Residency: The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency and The Mayo Clinic

  Dr. Parson trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has participated with the Operation Smile Organization, donating his surgical skills to correct congenital facial defects in children.

  Dr. Parson is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction following cancer. He is the current Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Hospital. He is a Certified Diplomat of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

  Dr. Parson received a BS from The University of Utah in Biomedical Engineering. He obtained an MD degree from The George Washington University, and completed a General Surgery Residency at The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency.

  Dr. Parson is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Arizona. He is a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery for both The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency and The Mayo Clinic.

  Dr. Parson performs all types of plastic surgery but has a special interest in both cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.
