Dr. Stevens is nationally and internationally known as an innovator and leader in the field of plastic surgery. His expertise is recognized by his patients, his students, the media and his colleagues. One of his most rewarding honors was to be recently named one of the nation’s best physicians by his peers in “The Guide to Top Doctors.”
Dr. Stevens serves on the faculty of both UCLA and USC. He has also been selected to be a visiting professor at Loma Linda University, the University of Switzerland and the University of Denmark. He has been past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital and has also been a co-director of The Breast Center. He is on staff at St. John’s Medical Center as well.
In demand as a speaker, Dr. Stevens has given more than 50 presentations and lectures during in venues around the world. His television appearances have included CNN, Discovery, MSNBC, The Learning Channel and many more. He has also authored dozens of articles for industry publications such as The American Journal of Surgery and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Times.
Dr. Stevens is the developer of The Stevens Laser Bra, a technique that employs the patient’s own tissue to give a long-lasting, natural lift to the breasts in breast enlargement, breast reduction and breast lift procedures. He and his staff are also known for the “Mommy Makeover” concept: combinations--such as breast augmentation and tummy tuck--custom fit to the needs of each individual client.

Dr. Michelle A. Spring, a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, returns to practice cosmetic and plastic reconstructive surgery with Marina Plastic Surgery where she completed an ASAPS Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship with Dr. W. Grant Stevens from July to December 2006. Following her Fellowship and Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Wisconsin, Madison, Dr. Spring served as a plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic staff surgeon and clinical instructor in plastic surgery at University of Wisconsin’s Dean Medical Center.
Dr. Spring generously donates her skills and time as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon by traveling extensively to Bangladesh, Bolivia, China, Ecuador, India, Peru, Taiwan, and Vietnam, where she contributes her surgical skills and compassion to provide humanitarian relief as an Interplast Webster Fellow. As an Interplast Webster fellow, Dr. Spring provides free reconstructive plastic surgery to children and adults with cleft palate, cleft lip and severe, disfiguring burns and hand deformities.
Patients seeking body contouring or facial plastic surgery will appreciate the compassionate skilled care Dr. Spring offers as a result of her passion to make a difference. Her energy and enthusiasm to serve is expressed throughout her academic and professional career through volunteering with the American Red Cross, Big Bothers and Big Sisters, and the Salvation Army, where she served as a MEDIC Volunteer and Drug Supply Coordinator, responsible for delivering health care and supplies for the homeless.
When Dr. Spring is not performing plastic surgery at Marina Plastic Surgery, she continues her humanitarian work with Eduplast, a non-profit organization dedicated to training plastic and reconstructive surgeons in Nicaragua and Ecuador. Dr. Spring has authored professional journal articles and presented findings on breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, breast reconstruction and tummy tuck.
Apart from her passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery, traveling and volunteering with humanitarian organizations in underserved countries, Dr. Spring enjoys mountain biking, sailing, horseback riding, learning to surf and ski and reading.
