Following this, Dr. Taylor moved to the West Coast where he completed a rigorous internship and residency in general surgery at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He received board certification by the American Board of Surgery. He then went on to complete an accredited fellowship in plastic & reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery at the University of Southern California also in Los Angeles, CA. It is recognized nationally as one of a very small number of premier academic teaching institutions. Dr. Taylor then received board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).

After completing his training at USC, he opened his private practice in Pasadena, CA in 1996. Dr. Taylor is able to offer a complete range of plastic surgical care including cosmetic procedures, reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery.
