Photo Set Details
Photos courtesy of: Dr. Thomas M. DeWire
Subject #35 56 year old female
Procedure: Microdroplet fat injection to Nasolabial smile lines and upper and lower lips.
Location: Office Surgical Suite
Time elapsed between before and after photos: 3 weeks
Comments: Fat harvested by syringe tumescent technique, centrifuged and decanted, and reinjected with fine blunt needles in minute amounts with multiple needle passes, depositing a total of 19cc in the upper and lower lips and nasolabial folds via two 1mm stab incisions in the folds.

Most fat injected by this technique will survive permanently. Depression areas of left chin below lip (right side of photo) are filled in as well. Collagen was added to highlight the architecture of the lip roll and the philtral columns running from upper lip to nose. At 9 months the fat has persisted, but the collagen is gone.
